Aspiration · Problem · Project · Opportunity

The APPO Method.

A system of intentional questions, to ask yourself morning and evening, to steer your days and pursue happiness through personal growth. A method created by Marco Costanzo.

What it is

APPO is the acronym for the four elements of personal growth: Aspiration, Problem, Project, Opportunity.

It is a compass: the right questions, asked at the right moment, turn what you feel into concrete action.

The four pillars

Learn more
A

Aspiration

In every moment our actions should be guided by a clear aspiration: knowing where you want to go.

P

Problem

Recognising and facing problems, external obstacles and the limits we impose on ourselves.

P

Project

Building a sound project, a strategic action plan to get out of unfavourable situations.

O

Opportunity

Learning to seize positive opportunities, even out of adverse events.

02 — What it's for

A daily practice

The morning question

A well-crafted answer becomes the compass for your day, instead of letting the flow of events set your direction.

The evening reflection

The evening questions help you grow wiser each day and rediscover the meaning of what you have lived.

In difficult moments

When you feel a negative emotion, the internalised APPO framework lets you choose whether to change your priorities.

From the book
"The power of certain questions lies in their ability to turn what you feel into concrete action and to make measurable what so often escapes your perception."
